Kellehers Australia – Innovative legal educators

Members of Kellehers legal team have engaged in two innovative legal education programs. The first is an advocacy program, led by Hubert Algie, that encourages law students to engage with other students in a safe ‘padded wall’ environment to develop their public speaking and advocacy skills. The second program was an ‘on country’ Indigenous Clinical Legal Practice program. Initiated, designed, taught and assessed by an Aboriginal Elder, with our Principal Dr Leonie Kelleher, the subject was the first of its kind in Australia.
