Roads Law – Dedications

Kellehers continues to find clients challenged by the intricacies of road law. Australian road law emerged in the very early history of the colony and derived from England. It needed to adapt to vast, lonely open spaces and our very different climatic conditions. It is extremely complex law. One fundamental concept is the notion of a “public highway”. This is land over which the public has the right to pass and re-pass ‘as of right’.
